Car detailing in Citrus Heights

Point me to the car and I'll take it from there, inside and out, starting with a walk around it together. Car detailing in Citrus Heights is mostly driveway work for me, with apartment lots and shop lots along the main roads mixed in. My truck holds up to 300 gallons of water and runs its own generator, so your hose and your outlets stay out of it.

How I run a Citrus Heights appointment

I'll give you a one-hour window for my arrival and let you know if it moves.

We start by looking the car over side by side. I'll point out what I think will come clean, what will improve but not disappear, and anything I'd charge extra for. You hear all of that before I start, not on the bill afterward.

A full car detail does the interior and the exterior in one visit, 2 to 4 hours in all. An exterior detail on its own is at least an hour and 15 minutes, longer on a bigger or dirtier vehicle.

Travel fees may apply depending on location and service, and will be confirmed with your quote.

Big front yards, narrow streets and old trees

I work in every part of town, from Northwest and Birdcage Heights to Arcade Creek, Park Oaks and Sylvan Old Auburn Road. Up along the northern edge of the city and near Mariposa Avenue, many of the older streets have deep front yards and no curbs or sidewalks. On a narrow street like that, I'd rather set up in your driveway than in the road, as long as I can get all the way around the car.

Many of those streets have big, mature trees too, and I put that shade to use. Correction and coating work both want shade on a hot afternoon, and a dark car sitting in full sun goes under cover or waits for a cooler day. Sometimes that just means rolling it a few houses down to sit under a tree. At NOAA's Sacramento 5 ESE station, the 1991–2020 normals add up to about 79 days of 90°F or more between June and September.

Apartment lots by Sunrise Mall, shop lots on Greenback

If you live in one of the complexes near Sunrise Mall or on the southwest end of Auburn Boulevard, the detail happens in your parking lot. Before I come, ask your property manager whether they're OK with detailing in the lot.

If you work at a shop or office in Sunrise MarketPlace, along Greenback Lane or Sunrise Boulevard, or up at Antelope Crossing, I can do your car in the lot while you're on shift. The same goes for the lots on Auburn Boulevard, from Stock Ranch up past Sylvan Corners. I'll take about 3 spaces, or 2 if someone blocks them off for me. Parking garages are the exception, because my truck generally can't work inside one.

What Citrus Heights customers ask

Can you coat my car at my house?

Yes. For a coating, a garage at your house is what I look for first. A suitable office can be the backup. The car can go out that afternoon. The ceramic coating still needs roughly a day away from water, including rain and sprinklers, while it cures.

I'm in a townhouse with a shared driveway. Can you still do it?

Usually. Tell me what the parking looks like when you book. If it's too tight to get around the car, a guest space works, or the street in front when it's dry.
