Coatings and paint correction at the house
When I put on a ceramic coating, your own garage is where I want to be, and an office can work if the spot is right. I book one coating a day and start first thing in the morning. Outside, wind, fog or humidity can push the date. In a garage that's much less of a worry. On a newer car, with my helper and me, it takes about 2.5 hours, and most of that is prep. You can drive it later that day, as long as it stays dry for roughly 24 hours.
Older paint usually needs paint correction before a coating, and that's a separate job priced on top. After 26+ years, I can usually see what your paint needs at a glance, and I'll tell you before you book. A one-step correction starts at about an hour and 45 minutes, and each extra stage adds roughly an hour.

Serrano, Promontory and the older villages
From Park Village and Crown Village to Blackstone and Lake Forest, I come to the house. The ground up here is hilly, so a garage or a level part of the driveway makes the work easier. If your neighborhood has an HOA, it's worth checking that it allows detailing in the driveway before the day.
Summer afternoons call for shade too. July averages a high of 94.1°F at NOAA's Placerville station (1991–2020 normals), so on a hot day I'll want correction and coating work out of the sun.
Office lots on Latrobe Road
If you work in the El Dorado Hills Business Park or around Town Center, both off Latrobe Road, I can detail the car in your lot during the workday. Give me about 3 spaces, or 2 blocked off. A full car detail there takes 2 to 4 hours.

Can you detail my boat?
Yes. The boat has to be on dry land first, sitting on its trailer or somewhere I can get all the way around it. For a boat kept at a storage facility, get the facility's OK for detailing before we book. I quote boat detailing per boat, on size and condition, not per foot.
Can you work in the parking garage at my office?
Generally not. My truck can't get inside parking garages, so the car will need to be in the open lot.
What if the weather turns on coating day?
If we're in your garage, we usually carry on. If we're outside and it's windy, foggy or wet, I'll call and we'll choose another morning.
