RV detailing in Sacramento, priced by the job
I don't charge by the foot. RV detailing in Sacramento is priced per job, based on the size of the RV, its condition and the work you want done. I come to where it's parked, with my own water and power. An RV exterior detail starts at $300, and an RV wash starts at $110.

RV wash or RV exterior detail
There are two ways to book RV work with me:
- RV wash. The simpler job, and the lower-priced one: a top-to-bottom wash and dry, with the glass, wheels and tires done as they apply. If you'd rather I do just the sides, I can scope the wash that way.
- RV exterior detail. Anything beyond a basic wash, such as protection, water-spot work, oxidation or other corrective work.
Roofs and oxidation are both work I take on. Awnings I'll do on request, for an added charge. Mold staining on an awning can need added treatment at extra cost, and I can't promise it will all come out.
I do RV interiors too. Each one is quoted on its own, because the work varies so much from one RV to the next.
What goes into either one depends heavily on the RV and on what you ask for. That's why we settle the scope on the phone, before I quote. If I spot something else once I'm there, I'll raise it before I start, not halfway through.
What an RV detail can and can't fix
A wash or a detail gets an RV clean. It doesn't undo damage. How much comes back depends on the age of the RV and the shape it's in, and not all of it can be fully removed.
So before any work begins, we walk around the RV together. You show me what's bothering you, and I'll add anything I notice myself. If something can't be fully addressed, you hear it from me up front, while you can still decide what you want done.
How it works where your RV is parked
An RV is one of the harder jobs I take on. It's a lot of surface, and weather, heat, sun and a lack of shade all make it tougher. On a hot day I want shade if there's any to be had. If rain comes in, I'll call you and we'll pick another day.
Detailing an RV takes 3 hours or more, depending on the RV and the work requested.
Water and power aren't something you need to provide. I carry my own. What I do need is enough room to work on every side of the RV. Any other requirements depend on the RV itself, so tell me about yours when you call.
If your RV sits in a storage lot, check with the facility that it allows the work before we set a date. Some lots have a set wash area, and some limit how long you can work on a vehicle there.
What RV detailing costs, and why it's not per foot
If you're looking for a per-foot rate, I don't have one. Size matters, but so do the condition of the RV and the work you want done, so I price each RV as its own job.
- RV exterior detail: from $300
- RV wash: from $110
Those are starting prices. Size, condition and scope set the final number, and you'll have it before I start.
I'll confirm after a quick look or a few photos.
Travel fees may apply depending on location and service, and will be confirmed with your quote.

RV detailing questions
Have you worked on RVs before?
Yes. RVs are part of what I've done over the years, along with boats and commercial vehicles.
Can you quote an RV over the phone?
Usually, yes. Give me the make, the length and what you want done, and I can price most RV jobs from that. I'll confirm it on the walk-around, before any work starts.
Do I need to be there?
Not the whole time. I'd like you there at the start, so we can walk around the RV together.
Do you do boats too?
Yes, and they're priced the same way, by the job rather than the foot. See boat detailing.

Send me the make and length of your RV, where it's parked, and if you're after a wash or an exterior detail. If your business runs RVs or other large vehicles on a schedule, my fleet detailing page explains how ongoing accounts work. For cars and trucks, see exterior detailing.
