Boat detailing in Sacramento, outside, inside or both
Boat detailing in Sacramento is something I price one boat at a time. The size, the condition and the part you want done, outside, inside or both, decide the price, not a rate per foot. I come to you with my own water and power. A boat exterior detail starts at $250.

What a boat job covers
You pick the scope:
- Exterior only. The outside of the boat. This is the one with a published starting price.
- Interior. Quoted for your boat. You choose what goes in: seats, vinyl, carpet, mildew cleaning, or just some of those.
- Both. The inside and outside, quoted together as one job.
Past that, the work depends on how big the boat is and what condition it's in. We go through it when you call, and the price is settled before I start.
On the outside, I do oxidation and other corrective work. I'll wax the hull when you ask for it, but it isn't added automatically. A boat that's been kept in the water may need a separate heavy-duty hull cleaning.
What a boat detail can and can't fix
A detail cleans the parts of the boat we agreed on. It won't undo wear or damage, and how much comes out depends on the boat's age and condition.
Before any work starts, I walk around the boat with you, point out anything I notice, and tell you plainly what I don't expect to come out. I won't promise more than I can see. If the boat needs something beyond detailing, I'll tell you that too.
How a boat detail works
Boats are hard work. Size is part of that, and so is the weather: heat, sun and not much shade. When it's hot I want shade, and if rain is on the way I'll call you and we'll find another day.
A boat detail takes about 1 hour 45 minutes, and more from there depending on the boat and the job.
You don't need a hose or an outlet for me. The water comes on my truck, up to 300 gallons, and a generator handles the power. I'll only use your outlet if you're happy for me to.
The boat has to be out of the water, on a trailer or set where I can reach all of it. Your home, your office or a storage lot can work. If it's in a storage lot, ask the facility whether they allow detailing there before you book. Tell me where the boat will be, so I know how much room I'll have to work around it.
What boat detailing costs
I don't price boats by the foot. Each one is quoted as a job: its size, its condition and how much of it you want done.
- Boat exterior detail: from $250
Interior work, or the inside and outside together, is quoted for your boat. You'll get the number from me before I start.
I'll confirm after a quick look or a few photos.
Travel fees may apply depending on location and service, and will be confirmed with your quote.

Boat detailing questions
Do you work on boat interiors?
Yes. The interior can be done on its own or along with the outside. It's quoted per boat, so tell me what yours needs.
Have you detailed boats before?
Yes. Boats are among the vehicles I've worked on over the years.
How do you quote a boat?
Tell me the make and length, what you want done and what shape it's in. I can usually give you a price from that, and I'll confirm it when I see the boat.
Do you detail RVs as well?
Yes. RVs are priced per job too. See RV detailing.

Tell me the make and length of the boat, which parts you want done, and where it'll be when I come. A couple of photos help. The quote request form has space for more detail. For cars and trucks, here's the rest of what I do.
