Car detailing in West Sacramento

This is where I'm based, and I've been detailing for 26+ years. I do car detailing in West Sacramento at houses, apartment and condo lots and workplaces, from Broderick and Bryte down to Southport. I bring up to 300 gallons of water on the truck, plus a generator, so you won't need to find me a hose or an outlet. Because it's my home base, the basic wash is offered here as well as detailing.

The basic wash, and what detailing costs here

The basic wash starts at $85. It's an outside wash that takes in the jambs, wheels, tires and wheel wells. Wax and the interior aren't part of it. The wash covers all of West Sacramento, Southport included. Here's what the basic wash covers in full.

Detailing is priced on its own. A midsize full detail starts at $380, and a bigger vehicle, or one in rougher shape, costs more.

Travel fees may apply depending on location and service, and will be confirmed with your quote.

Detailing at work near West Capitol Avenue, Riverpoint and the Port

If you work along West Capitol Avenue or Jefferson Boulevard, or out at Riverpoint, I can do the car right there in your work lot. The lot needs to spare me about 3 spaces, or 2 if they're blocked off, and a full car detail runs 2 to 4 hours.

If your business runs vehicles out of the Port or the industrial areas around it, you can set up a fleet detailing account with me: visits on a schedule we agree, and invoices on Net 30 terms or payment by card.

Coatings in the wet months

Summers are dry, but NOAA's 1991–2020 normals for Sacramento Executive Airport, just across the river, show about 3.4 to 3.7 inches of rain a month from December through February. A ceramic coating can go on outside on a dry, calm day, but in winter a garage is what keeps the date. After it's on, the car can be driven, but the coating has to stay dry and sheltered from the weather for roughly 24 hours. If it's raining and there's no garage, I'll call and we'll pick a new date.

From Broderick and Bryte to the Southport villages

Broderick, Bryte, Michigan/Glide and Old West Sacramento. A driveway is easiest, but I can work at the curb in front of the house when the weather's dry.

Southport. A driveway or an open garage gives me everything I need.

Washington and the Bridge District. Down on the riverfront, a shared lot is fine, though my truck generally can't get inside a parking garage. I just need clear space on every side of the vehicle.

Before you book in West Sacramento

Can you plug into an outlet at my building?

If one's handy and it's convenient, yes, and I'll ask first. If not, my generator runs everything.

Do you cover Southport as well as the older neighborhoods?

Yes. I work all over the city, on both sides of the barge canal.

Do you also work across the river in Sacramento?

Yes, I work there too. Here's how I cover Sacramento neighborhoods, from Downtown to Natomas.
